Qgroup Launches Cybersecurity Company Secure by Q

Digital transformation is increasing, creating exciting opportunities and risks. Cyberattacks, generative AI, employee behavior, third-party risks, threat exposure, communication gaps, and disinformation are aspects that must now be managed with preventive measures. Qgroup is now taking a firm hold in security and building up the new company Secure by Q.
The company will be run and led by co-founders Janne Karppinen and Petter Larsson, who will step in as directors and exercise shared leadership. Petter Larsson has a long and broad background in national and international risk, security, and leadership under challenging conditions, including the Swedish Armed Forces and the Security Police. Janne Karppinen (CISSP® and CISM®) has over 20 years of experience in the security field and is a strategic and experienced security leader with global experience in various security areas. They are both highly valued managers and leaders and themselves active as advisors for the company&#8217;s customers.
From the start, Secure by Q has been an innovative consulting company characterized by its specialization in modern and digital risk, security, and regulatory compliance. It is based on the principle of seamlessly integrating risk management, security, and compliance into organizations&#8217; business and organizational strategy and counteracting unnecessary uncertainty.
Their services cover a wide range of needs, from cyber security and information security to security protection, crisis management, and secure digitization, including cutting-edge domains such as AI, IoT, and autonomous technologies.

Qgroup's subsidiary Dynabyte was chosen as system integrators in Sweden's central bank, Sveriges Riksbank's public procurement. The framework agreement runs over two years, with the possibility of extension for four more years, and is estimated to have a value of SEK 51 million. According to the framework agreement, Dynabyte will provide services within system integration, integration architecture, and method consulting.

Under this agreement, Dynabyte will provide comprehensive system integration services to enhance the technical capabilities of Sweden&#8217;s central financial institutions. This entails a close collaboration between Dynabyte&#8217;s team and the central bank to execute solutions that facilitate operations, reinforce security, and augment overall efficiency.

Arcade Sundown

Through its associated company, Fully Studios, the gaming segment has become another leg for Qgroup, where cooperation with major players such as Toca Boca and developing its own games are highly topical.

Qgroup Gets Established in the Gaming Segment 

Since the beginning of 2022, Qgroup has been a partner in the Di Gasell company Fully Studios &#8211; an award-winning Swedish studio in Gothenburg and Stockholm that offers web and app development services, film, and games.
The game segment (video games, gaming) is growing strongly. Today, Fully Studios has a business that partly caters to customers who order game development assignments and partly has its own studio that develops unique games.
To be able to deliver top-class services, Fully Studios has brought experienced game developers into its team. The cutting-edge expertise has led to assignments for well-known game development companies such as Toca Boca, with which Fully Studios has collaborated for years. The task is to develop live service functionality for one of Toca Boca&#8217;s online games.

Fully Studios&#8217; sister company &#8211; The Fully Arcade &#8211; also launched its first game. Arcade Sundown, which involves shrinking your game character to mini size and facing off against others in pinball games in lively, short matches, has quickly become a buzz in the industry. Arcade Sundown can be played with one player or in a multiplayer system with 2-4 players. In the single-player mode, the player faces AI-guided opponents.

Data Dao was launched in October last year with the mission to provide the market with unique specialists in data. Since then, the organization has grown with more consultants, they have started a podcast on the topic of data, and today is the launch day of their brand-new website – datadao.se.

The first version of the website is loaded with content that will gradually be extended, such as a resource bank with articles, templates, and code repos that Data Dao uses and would like to share.
